Our undergraduate support service caters for undergraduate students of French, German or Spanish (single or joint honours).
Our tutors are conversant with the grammar and lexis covered in the 1st, 2nd and 4th year of most UK undergraduate programmes, including Oxbridge and the Russell Group. Our tutorials review language covered in each year of university study through targeted practice of the key language skills - speaking, essay writing, reading, listening, summary (précis), presentation and translation. Tutorials also provide a forum in which tutees can ask questions, explore ideas and discuss topics that they find particularly interesting or challenging.
Our undergraduate support service follows a bespoke curriculum, tailored to the needs of each tutee.
Tutorials can also include the study of literary texts (and concomitant literary movements), applied linguistics, psycholinguistics and philosophy (as required).
We tutor in the comfort of your home, online (via Skype, Zoom, Teams or FaceTime), or at the home of one of our specialist University tutors, at a time that is most convenient for you.
We currently tutor in person within a 10 mile radius of Bournemouth town centre, including Christchurch, Parkstone, Poole, Southbourne, Westbourne, Boscombe, Moordown, Winton, Charminster, Ferndown, Wimborne, and Branksome.
